This executive order classifies all people as either male or female depending on the sex they were assigned at birth and that this is not interchangeable and does not include other special cases such as individuals who are intersex. It removes previous protections for transgender citizens and forces sweeping anti-transgender policies across the federal government.
The Secretary of State and Homeland Security, and the Director of the Office of Personnel Management will implement changes that require all government issued ID's, including passports, to accurately refer to the holder's sex assigned at birth.
This executive order will also force transgender prisoners to be moved to whatever prison matches their sex assigned at birth, regardless of their state of transitioning, and will stop providing any federal funds for any gender affirming medical procedures, treatments, or drugs.
Agencies will also remove all statements, policies, regulations, forms, communications, or any other internal messaging that promote or include gender ideology. All agency forms must now reflect an individual's sex as either male or female and will not ask for gender identity.
